I just installed the 8.5.2 beta for Linux. No tweaking necessary - it just works :-) The speed isn't so bad either, if someone told me that this was the final release I might have beleived them.

Is 8.5.2 to be supported on Ubuntu 10.04 then? Does it say anything in the documentation?
Haven't got any documentation, but from what I've heard from IBM people, the goal is to support Ubuntu 10.04
