This has happened twice this week. A user tries to log in, but is interrupted by this message:
After that: Nothing. The client hangs. Must run NSD.EXE -kill in order to remove it from memory.
The sollution: Not a good one, but the only one that seems to work at the moment: Restore an older copy of the person's personal address book and restart the client. (Of course you have a backup copy of each user's personal NAB??)
Other clues: Both users run 8.5.1 w/o service packs

What happens if you run
"ncompact -c -i names.nsf"?
That should fix any corruption in the file.
We tried that. Didn't work. Strangely enough.
Could it be a corrupted location/connection document? Another Weird mime error
Yes it could. But twice a week? Might Indicate a bug if you ask me.
