Got problems with freezing 8.0.2 clients? Call IBM support for a copy of their latest 8.0.2 hotfix. In one particular office we had as much as 20-25% of the Notes 8.0.2 clients periodically out of order last week due to this freeze issue. After installing the hotfix, the problems disappeared on all computers. So get it now.

You have to call IBM in order to get this hotfix. As far as I know it's not available through the other channels yet.
An alternative solution for the 8.0.2 freeze problem is to add the notes.ini setting:
enable_early_authentication=0
This setting eliminates the freezes in 8.0.2. I chose this over the CCH1 simply because it was easier at the time. To roll out the CCH1 would have been a separate deployment which would have slowed my deployment.
